Get in the holiday spirit and volunteer for one of the most exciting fundraisers of the year at the "Thrill Capital of the World"!
When: Saturday, December 16th
What: Volunteers will provide general assistance in the reception area prior to the start of the race, which may include: directing runners to specific areas, corralling runners at the start line, helping with the warm-up/program,aAnd more!
What do I need to bring?: All volunteers should bring their completed waivers, warm clothes, and their holiday spirit!
Can children volunteer?: For safety reasons no children under the age of 14 are allowed to volunteer, no exceptions.
Can I sign up my family/colleagues?: Every person MUST be registered in order to participate. If you would like to sign up your child/group/family, please make sure you click on the "respond as a team" button which is located immediately the right of the "respond" button. However, anyone over the age of 13 is strongly encouraged to create their own account so that their volunteers hours can be verified and tracked accordingly.
Can I wait to register and just show up the day of?: No, all volunteers must be pre-registered prior to December 16th.
Can I sign up and volunteer for just an hour instead of the whole shift? No. Each volunteer opportunity has been planned according to the number of volunteers required and therefore we ask that each individual volunteer for the entire time.
Can I go into the park after my shift? We have discounted tickets (only $38!) available for purchase on our website! They are good every day until December 31st. Go after your shift or any other day until the end of the year!
