The SCV Food Pantry is in need of your help as a volunteer to help sort food, stock shelves, fill bags and distribute food to our neighbors in need Monday through Thursday and Saturday of each week.

Volunteer support is essential to our organization and our 170 animals. The Gentle Barn is always looking for amazing volunteers to help us on Sundays when we are open to the public and throughout the week. Our volunteers provide extra care and attention to all of our animals, they introduce the animals to the public on Sundays by telling their stories, and offer additional help wherever needed. Volunteering at The Gentle Barn is truly a rewarding experience, one that you will soon not forget!
We have many opportunities available, including Sunday Docents, Horse Groomers, Barnyard Buddies, Barn Hands, Office Support, and more!

Safe Rides is a non-profit organization dedicated to making our community a safer place by providing teens a ride home as an alternative to Drinking and Driving.

There are many ways for volunteers to contribute their time and efforts at Family Promise. No matter the size of your involvement, anything (and everything) you can do or give will help in a big way. Training and orientation are provided for all volunteers.

Volunteers assist with the food distribution process by checking in families, working at the dairy station, working at the clothing station, working at check-out, bagging groceries, carrying groceries out, restocking, and cleaning.  Elementary students may volunteer with their parents.  Junior H.S. students, High School students, and adult volunteers are also welcome.
Tuesdays 5:00 – 7:30 pm
Thursdays 5:00 – 7:30 pm
Saturday mornings 8:30 am – 12:00 noon

Make a difference in the lives of seniors and meet other wonderful volunteers!  Help serve lunches to seniors and assist with kitchen cleanup any day Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  Must not have any physical limitations.  Please contact to schedule an orientation for Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. or Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.

Make a difference in the life of a senior by providing a hot, healthy meal!  Packing room volunteers are needed any weekday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Volunteers must not have physical limitations.   Call or email to schedule an orientation offered on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. or Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.

We are in need of a person with construction experience to assist us with the rehabilitation of homes for first time buyers.  The person must have some working knowledge of tools and construction materials.
